It’s about the yoga…and connection is cure – so join me and other shimmering yogi sprites at one or both of these workshops! We will gather together IN PERSON at The Forge Yoga Centre in Totnes, to learn and share with each other. If you’ve never felt Forrest Yoga, this is the perfect way to get stuck in. And if you have, this is what you’ve been wanting since sheltering at home!
In the morning workshop we will be exploring our hips, pelvis and legs and gleaming insightful knowledge from those tight spots using not only Forrest Yoga poses but pelvic alignment, anatomy and bodywork too. We will explore the concepts of being at ease within your body so you can feel more and create more space and joy in your practice as well as in your life! This workshop is designed for All Levels, and wherever you are in your yoga practice, modifications will be given to go deeper or step back. Hip hip hooray!
In the afternoon workshop, we will immerse our hearts into backbends, troubleshooting tight spots in pelvis, legs, feet, shoulders and necks. A wonderful transition from the morning workshop. We’ll be opening areas around the heart to move out that backlog of shielding from the pandemic’s restrictions and uncertainties. Expect back traction, core work, and shoulder opening, as well as leg strengthening and foot stabilising. Think yoga nidra. Anatomy. Bodywork. Forrest yoga. Savasana. Healing. All bases will be covered! We will also be exploring inversions – going upside down is so exhilarating, alchemizing stress chemicals into feel great chemicals!
Expect deep asanas. Expect yoga nidra. Expect a luxurious Savasana. Yes, there will be abs.
